New features

✨ New tournament page

It was time to step up a bit for this vital view that is your tournament’s home page. We have taken your feedback into account and hope you will like this new template!

| Novelties

A much more refined space highlighting the information of your tournament and clarifying all the informations available.
The poster is now used, you are free to express your creativity in 1440 x 400 px.
A sidebar filled in before the technical information of the tournament: Information of the game, game mode (solo or team), the conditions of participation and the cash prize.
The winner is highlighted in a new block and a win / loss ratio is displayed
Finally a dynamic block accompanies you throughout the duration of the tournament whether you are registered or not. This block indicates to you, if you are well registered, if your team is complete and informs you of the tournament stage in order to redirect you to the appropriate spaces. If you are not registered this one informs you of the progress of the tournament. Finally if you are invited to join a team, you can see it directly here.

No more shared cookie problem, Player Tag now asks if you agree to share your informations with Playce.

✨ New player space, it now shows all stages and matches

When the checkin phase is over, you have access to the different phases of a tournament
In these phases, all matches will be updated automatically and a cartridge constantly encourages you to meet your future opponent
Messages accompany you through these phases and the next steps to follow

The match view is also improved with:

The current match is now visible
The winner is more obvious
The team is displayed near the player avatars level in the chat
Administrator messages are highlighted
How to call an administrator is explained for more understanding
Context messages help to better understand the actions necessary for the proper functioning of the match
The design is more refined which makes this space more elegant and of course it remains customizable according to your colors

How do I register for a tournament ?

Accepted Answer

To register for a tournament, first log into your Player-Tag account: Player Tag

Register

Go to the tournament page and click on "register now"

Follow the instructions on the screen For more details, read the articles Register to a solo tournament or Register to a team tournament
Wait for the beginning of the tournament

| Remember, the check-in takes place 1 hour before the beginning of the tournament. You must be on the tournament page before it begins and the whole the time of the tournament.

I registered in a tournament, what now? (checking in)

Accepted Answer

If you registered correctly in a tournament, you can see your Player Tag pseudo or team name in the list of participants, you have to wait until the tournament begins on the right date and time. You can check your registration in Player Tag

After registering for a tournament

Go to the tournament page and register
Follow the instructions after your registration

The check-in starts one hour before the tournament. Click on "Yes! Check-in!"

Wait for the tournament to begin, a timer will tell you when it starts.

When the matches are starting, click on the "GO!" button of your current match

You are now facing your opponent, let's begin !

How to submit a proof in the chat?

In order to prove the score of your match, it is necessary for each participant to take a screenshot of their screen (depending on the platform) or take a photo using their phone and send it directly to the chat of the match.

How to manage your collaborators

||| First make sure you are a member of your organization and that you are the administrator or owner of the organization.

1 - Add a collaborator :

The user you want to add must have a Player Tag account, ask them to create an account first.
Then go to the collaborators page of your organization from the navigation menu.
Then use type his username to find the PlayerTag account you want to add.
Click on the user in the search results
Choose the role you want to give him/her and click on Add

2 - Change the role of the collaborator :

Go to the collaborators page of your organization from the navigation menu.
On the list of collaborators, a drop-down list is visible next to each of them
By directly changing the role via this list, you immediately change the role of the collaborator.

3 - Delete a collaborator :

Go to the collaborators page of your organization from the navigation menu.
In the list of collaborators, a delete icon is visible
By clicking on it, the collaborator will be deleted
